I’m looking for a portfolio ops /value creation role where I can build pattern recognition across operating companies. I am also sourcing deals as a first-time IS in the optics, phontonics, imaging and laser (OPIL) industry. These companies are either manufacturers or service contractors providing testing, inspection, and quality assurance for manufacturing, testing and inspection for military, defense, and medical devices applications. I love this industry because I was co-founder to a technical CEO in a photonics startup and learned how OPIL invisibly underpins so much of our everyday lives. I also love that I get to steward ownership transitions in my hometown region, which hosts the largest cluster of OPIL companies in North America.
