McDonnell, Claire

Claire joined Cloud Equity Group in 2022. Claire is involved with all phases of debt investments from initial sourcing and pre-LOI preliminary due diligence to monitoring investment performance post-close and working with senior management teams to ensure targets are hit. Prior to joining Cloud Equity Group, Claire served as the interim CFO for several seed-stage startups in the software technology and ecommerce industries, overseeing the financial modeling, reporting, and management processes of the firms. Prior to her interim CFO roles, Claire was an Assistance Vice President, Credit Analyst at Metropolitan Commercial Bank, a boutique commercial bank with over $8 billion in assets. Before joining Metropolitan Commercial Bank, Claire worked as a Credit Analyst at GreenState Credit Union, a $9 billion credit union with the 2nd largest commercial lending portfolio across all credit unions within the United States. Claire holds a Master of Science in Quantitative Finance and a BBA in Finance from the University of Iowa.
